AGORA EXPANDS TO BUXTON

CONGRATULATIONS – MAX BARDWELL FROM MTIF WINS MEDILINK MIDLANDS INNOVATION DAY COMPETITION

Steve Thomason from competition sponsors Agora Marketing Communications, presented the £100 Amazon Vouchers to Max for successfully visiting each of the 32 exhibitors at the recent Medilink Midlands Innovation Day in Coventry.

“The exhibitor competition on the day was a great way of encouraging delegates to speak to everyone exhibiting at the event,” said Max. “It prompted conversations with people representing companies with which, at first glance, we had no obvious synergies. The scale of the exhibition was perfect in making the competition challenging but achievable and we certainly benefited from participating.

“The Medilink Midlands Innovation Day is an event we prioritise in our events calendar every year. AGORA COMPLETES 10TH ANNUAL REPORT FOR MEDILINK

Agora Marketing Communications has recently produced a 48 page Annual Report for Medilink Midlands. This was the 10th edition the company has produced in 16 years and the largest so far.

The project took just over four months to complete and involved sourcing all the advertising to pay for the report; design and artwork for all the pages and overseeing all the print production and online version.

2005 was the first year Agora produced a 16 page report and the first for Medilink East Midlands since its formation in 2004. Each year since, the report has highlighted the excellent work of Medilink to support regional life science companies and organisations and provided opportunity for awareness of new technologies and products.

Medilink Midlands is the Midlands Life Sciences industry association whose aim is to help companies establish, develop and grow.

AGORA COMPLETES NEW WEBSITE FOR TYLER EVENTS

We are very pleased to announce another successful website built by Agora Marketing. This is our second site for this leading East Midlands based event management company, having designed and built their first website in 2004.

This past year has been very difficult for the events industry, including for Tyler Events, but with a successful virtual and hybrid conference side and many in-person events in the planning for 2022, the future looks very bright.

Agora has worked closely with Tyler Events since 2005 on one particular bi-annual conference for the ‘European Federation of Explosive Engineers (EFEE)’ involving the production of the conference proceedings, marketing support material, roller banners and programme cards. The next conference is in May 2022 in Maastricht.

Interestingly, Agora also designed and produced the branding for EFEE, this involved presenting ideas to a panel of EFEE executives from all nations across Europe, including Russia, all with different opinions and languages to explain their preference, we got there in the end and very good it looks too.


AMAZING TOPICAL ADVERTS FOR NATIONAL REFRIGERANTS

Agora Marketing Communications Ltd has for the fourth year running produced a series of eye-catching advertisements for client National Refrigerants Ltd, the UK’s leading repackager and distributor for Honeywell Solstice yf Refrigerant.

The campaign which ran from May through to October 2021 was for full-page adverts in a number of leading car aftermarket publications, the adverts were based around the current issues of rising temperatures in the world and how readers could help protect our amazing places on earth by switching to the environmentally friendly alternative yf refrigerant for car air conditioning systems, with a GWP of just 4. It was 1,430 before, so with carbon dioxide at just 1, it wasn’t very good for the planet.

TRAINING COMPANY EXPANDS INTO LOUGHBOROUGH

Agora client Huntmill Training Ltd in Swindon has recently expanded by opening a new training facility in Loughborough and moving it’s main HQ to the Leicestershire town at the same time.

We have recently created a Marketing Plan for both the Transport and Healthcare divisions and started to role out an integrated marketing programme of activity to East Midlands transport companies and SME’s with Fork-Lift operations.

XCAM JOINS CONSORTIUM FOR MONITORING TREES FROM SPACE

A highlight of our PR in 2020 was this story for Northampton based XCAM Ltd. They are leading the way in designing and manufacturing specialized digital imaging systems, primarily for the satellite and space industry.  The story was about XCAM working together with other UK companies and the Open University to put together a scoping study, called Treeview, to transform the ability to measure, map and monitor the health of trees from space.

ANOTHER SET OF STUNNING ADVERTS
