| AGORA SPONSOR LEICESTER TIGERS ANNUAL CHARITY CRICKET MATCH This was the 6th year the event had been held at Rothley Park Cricket Club and raised over £8,000. Charities to benefit from the event included LOROS, The Matt Hampson Trust and the development of junior cricket at Rothley Park. A full strength Leicester Tigers XI captained by Sam Vesty lost by 28 runs to a strong Matt Hampson Trust XI team in this annual 20/20 cricket match to raise funds for local charities, attracting over 1,300 supporters. Agora produced all the publicity and promoted the event through the local media. This year a door drop to all local households was undertaken leading to a rise in village attendance. |
